There is still a huge group of Zimbabweans that loves the 92 year old leader. Beyond admiring his numerous academic degrees, some Zimbabweans love his stance against the west, and his views on empowering black Zimbabweans. However some think his policies have destroyed the future of once a promising country.
2. Acie Lumumba
Young Mugabe supporter who has been a strong advocate for youth in Zimbabwe, recently now challenging credibility of Zanu PF ministers.
Still holds hope for many Zimbabweans who yearn for change in Zimbabwe politics. He is one of the few Zimbabwe opposition politicians who can connect at grassroots level.
4. Nelson Chamisa – viewed by others as the Nelson Mandela of Zimbabwe. He shows the hopes and dreams and possibilities of what abounds within Zimbabwe youth.
5. Sir Wicknell Chivayo – some hate him, some love him. He has made money through business deals in energy. Now he is a key sponsor of Zimbabwe national soccer team, and recently rescued Zimbabwe women who were enslaved in Kuwait.
6. Joyce Mujuru
After being booted by Mugabe, she is the strongest and the only Zanu PF member who has officially stood up against Mugabe. She could be the first Zimbabwe female president in 2018.
Admired for his courage, Tendai had a one man campaign against Mugabe. Unfortunately he has been missing for over a year.
8. Jenni Williams
Jenni Williams is a Zimbabwean human rights activist and a founder of Women of Zimbabwe Arise. A prominent critic of President Robert Mugabe’s government, The Guardian described her in 2009 as “one of the most troublesome thorns in Mugabe’s side”

Mawarire, 39, has called on Zimbabweans disillusioned by corruption and crisis in their homeland to reclaim their national flag. Popular Zimbabwe pastor Evan Mawarire refuses to be silenced after allegedly receiving a phone call threat for his #ThisFlag movement.
