92 year Old Zimbabwe President Mugabe: Let me retire properly, don’t force me out

The president of Zimbabwe who has been in power for nearly four decades said that should the moment come to leave office he did not want to do so by being expelled by impatient civil servants vying to succeed him.

Robert Mugabe, 92, who was elected prime minister in 1980 before becoming head of state seven years later, said he wanted to retire in a dignified manner.
