RUBYPEARL Solution has launched a marketing platform called Musika, the Mindful Marketplace that aims at bringing local art, music and culture to a wider global audience.

The colourful launch was held at Tayana Consultancy in Mt Pleasant, Harare, last Friday.

RubyPearl Solution president and chief executive Rungano Mashapure said the platform, which is the first of its kind in the country, would assist Zimbabwean artists showcase their talent and creativity.

“We strive to bring Zimbabwean and African art, culture and music to a global audience so that artists can showcase their talent and creativity,” he said.

Mashapure said the platform would also help revitalise the country’s economic fortunes by allowing artists to generate revenue.

“The platform will help artists to generate revenue, which in turn helps the growth of many small-to-medium enterprises as it will offer direct employment across many sectors of the economy, and not only the arts industry,” he said.

“As RubyPearl Solution, we have visited different artists in Domboshava, Binga, Victoria Falls and other places where different forms of art are being done. We also invite all who seek to grow their market base to be part of our growing community.”

Mashapure said the hub was ideal for organic, natural products for personal care as well as for African fashion and art-crafts.

Rungano encouraged Zimbabweans to support local talent.

Guests drawn from all walks of life were entertained by Tariro neGitare.
