Bulawayo residents engage in self sustenance projects

Mabuthweni residents in Bulawayo are on an aggressive drive to economically empower themselves through community based projects.

The projects include sewing of school uniforms, making pots, drawing and poultry amongst others.

Through an environmental friendly drive, the residents are also recycling material such as used juice cans and papers.

National Assembly member Cde Joseph Tshuma applauded the residents’ efforts in enhancing their own livelihoods.

The involvement in small and medium scale businesses have seen many unemployed people across the country engage in job creation initiatives.
