Two of Zimbabwe’s most talented producers Rodger “Levels” Kadzimwe and Tamuka Mukuluni have teamed up to bring one of the most exciting collaborations of 2018. The multi-award-winning producers will be dropping their first collaboration titled “Tamu Level Riddim” this month and it will feature a host of local artistes from different genres.

This collaboration comes after Levels, the Chillspot producer, asked his fans on social media about his next collaboration and they suggested Tamuka of Millitary Touch Movement producer.

“I always value my fans’ opinions because at the end of the day I make the music for them so when I wrote on my Facebook page about doing a collaboration, many suggested that I do it with Tamuka who is an old friend. This collaboration is to show respect to all Chillspot fans,” said Levels.

He said they created a beat that would accommodate both Tamuka’s artistes as well as his dancehall ensemble.
“The riddim is a mixture of Afro-pop, dancehall and old-school. We both wanted a beat that would cater for all of our artistes. This is one riddim that will see musicians from different musical backgrounds coming together,” said Levels.

Levels said he enjoyed working with Tamuka and he learnt a lot more about his type of music.
“It was such a good time working with Tamuka. We have known each other from way back at Kenako so we already had chemistry and it was not hard to get along in the studio. It was actually fun to learn about his type of music and we exchanged ideas,” said Levels.

Whilst recordings have already begun, Levels could not disclose the names of the artistes that will be on the riddim but promised fireworks.
“You are going to love it. There will be a lot of your favourite artistes on the riddim and it is going to be awesome,” said Levels.
