Former Chicken Inn and Kaizer Chiefs forward Edmore Chirambadare might be leaving Naturena, home of Kaizer Chiefs at the end of the Absa premiership season.
Chirambadare’s future at Naturena is uncertain following the decision by coach Steve Komphela to let the speedy forward leave Amakhosi at the end of the Absa season.
The enterprising forward confirmed the development to leave the club premises although saying he has not yet received offers so far from either Absa premiership sides or local PSL clubs.
The former Tasholotsho FC gun-man joined Amakhosi in 2016 after stealing the limelight in Chicken Inn colours which saw the Gamecocks edge the Pitso Mosimane coached Mamelodi Sundowns 1-0 in the first leg of the CAF Champions League at Barbourfields Stadium.
The speedy merchant became a regular at Amakhosi during Stuart Baxter’s reign at the club.
Despite posting mediocre results with the same arsenal that took Amakhosi to dizzy heights during Baxter’s time, Komphela has turned to be a bad carpenter who blames his tools and has lost enterprising players like George Lebese to Mamelodi Sundowns.
