GTel T9000: Your study companion

The recently introduced new curriculum in schools is going to bring in a new dimension to our education system.

ICT is now being introduced in primary schools and this means that our children now have to learn to use electronic devices at a very tender age.

This move has prompted device manufacturers like Gtel to produce devices that can be used for e-learning.

The new Gtel T9000 Tablet is a device that can be used for e-learning.

It runs on Microsoft Windows 8.1 meaning that it is a mini laptop on its own. It comes pre-loaded with Microsoft Office enabling the user to type documents, prepare Power point presentations and make computations using excel. This is what most students would require and Gtel has a device specifically designed to cater for those needs.

The 8.9-inch GTel T9000 is crafted perfectly using top of the range metals with a polished and glossy finish that attracts light in a fine way.

Its diamond-patterned back panel scores the T9000 some valuable premium points.

The tablet spots an LED notification light that, when enabled, flashes a red light when the tablet is low on power, stays on when tablet is charging as well as flashes when you have notifications from different applications.

The T9000 has an 8.9 inch HD IPS display touchscreen and a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, protected by the 3rd generation of the Corning Gorilla Glass that displays crisp graphics, images, text and movies, the T9000 doesn’t disappoint at all when it comes to screen clarity.

Every touch of your finger on the screen of the T9000 offers a smooth and solid experience.

From opening webpages and apps to playing the most graphically intensive games, the display of the T9000 won’t fail to impress with its extremely bright and sharp resolution.

There are also a cluster of features on its display settings where you can adjust the tablet’s screen to your preference. That’s a real plus.

For a tablet that is powered by a 64-bit 1.83 Ghz Quad Core processor and a 2GB RAM, you can rest assured that it was built for speed. Every single touch triggers a quick response from the device with absolutely no lagging when running multiple apps and playing heavily graphical games.

Apart from its highly impressive battery life with smart power consumption features

In terms of storage the T9000 comes with 32GB of internal storage. With a 5MP back camera and a 2MP front-facing camera alongside a group of features and flash functionality, the T9000 can be a decent companion for those selfies, video calls, and photo shots.

On the software side, the T9000 runs Windows 8.1, which offers a much lighter and better performance. In terms of security, you can choose from a number of options from pattern, PIN or password.
