The government says the days of politicking at the expense of the people’s welfare belong to the past.
Speaking while officially opening a clinic at Ruchanyu, Shurugwi, the Minister of State for Midlands Provincial Affairs, Cde Owen Ncube said the days when completed projects remained closed for political reasons are long gone.
He also lauded the project as a gesture of attaining results under the new dispensation led by President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Midlands Provincial Health Medical Director, Dr Mary Muchekeza said the opening of the clinic is an important gesture considering the distances people still travel to access health in the area.
Unki Mine General Manager said the clinic is testimony that working together can uplift communities.
Ruchanyu Clinic becomes the fourth in the area to be opened since Cde Mnangagwa became president in November last year.
Cde Mnangagwa has on several occasions reiterated that health delivery is a national priority.
