Preparations for Masvingo’s premier agricultural event, the Masvingo Provincial Agricultural Show to be held from the 26th to 29th this year, are now at an advanced stage an official said yesterday.
In an interview, Masvingo Show Society president Mr Phillip Mauta said they have since completed the servicing of stands for exhibitors ahead of the event.
He also encouraged companies and organisations to take up stands in their numbers.
Mr Mauta said so far 120 exhibitors had booked to showcase their products and services at this year’s show.
“We have lined up quite a number of interesting events for this year’s show,” he said.
“Masvingo residents and visitors shall be treated to entertainment from renowned musicians and the Lunar Park for children,” said Mr Mauta.
He said this event will be held under the theme “Practical Solutions for Economic Growth”.
Mr Mauta said the door was still open for more organisations and companies to book their stands.
“We encourage more companies and organisations to come for booking. The door is still open,” he said.
In separate interviews yesterday, Masvingo residents said show’s theme resonated with Government’s efforts to revive the economy through the devolution concept.
