Nengomasha speaks on budding talent

Former Warriors captain Tinashe Nengomasha says the amount of attention dedicated to primary school budding footballers is crucial to transforming the competitiveness of Zimbabwe national team sides.

As Zimbabwe seeks to find a formula for consistency on the African continent and a maiden World Cup qualification, Nengomasha reckons capturing budding talent at a much earlier stage is key to transforming Zimbabwean football.

Nengomasha who recently went through a Level One coaching programme is focusing on imparting knowledge to young players at BN Academy who will in the coming weeks be hosting Grant Brown manager of European academy FCV International.

The tour by Brown will culminate in two bright players being handed the opportunity of travelling to Europe for a two-week camp as a way of exposing young local talent to modern training methods being implemented abroad.
