Old Mutual Opens Shop in Mutare

Integrated financial services firm, Old Mutual Zimbabwe, has opened a new one-stop-shop branch offering their main financial and banking services under their Green-zone branded shop concept as well as the refurbished CABS Branch.

Commenting on the opening of the new branch, Jonas Mushosho, Old Mutual Zimbabwe Group CEO and Old Mutual Rest of Africa CEO said, “The opening of our Mutare Greenzone branch marks our continued commitment to our customers, Zimbabwe and its vibrant people.

“Customer centricity isn’t just a buzz phrase for us at Old Mutual, it is a philosophy that drives our business and will ensure our long term viability along with improved customer experiences,” said Mr Mushosho.

“Our research has shown us that integrated one-stop-shops like this one which we started in 2013 have a high customer approval rating with as much as 75 percent of visiting customers strongly recommending Old Mutual to colleagues and associates.”

The company which recently refreshed its brand identity said research had proven that customers preferred to have all their financial services under one roof.

The Old Mutual Green-zones offer life assurance, short term insurance, investment and CABS banking services amongst other products.

Mr Mushosho added, “The Greenzone concept takes advantage of Old Mutual’s wide range of integrated financial services offerings to provide a unique and convenient client centred experience under one roof.

“Our use of Green-zones help us as Old Mutual to consolidate the sum total of our otherwise individual financial business unit strengths to offer an integrated customer service centre of excellence.”

During their 2018 half year analyst briefing, Old Mutual announced an operating profit of $34, 3 million representing a growth of 27 percent for the first half of 2018.
