‘So We Care Foundation’ embarks on donate a dollar campaign

A local voluntary organisation ‘So We Care Foundation’ has come up with a programme to raise funds to assist underprivileged people with rare diseases and conditions.

In an effort to assist underprivileged members of society who are born or have developed rare diseases and conditions, a local based voluntary organisation ‘So We Care Foundation’ has embarked on a donate a dollar campaign to raise funds for their medical needs.

Foundation coordinator Mrs Mandy Denda says the programme is meant to raise funds to assist with medical care for those in need.

The foundation has so far assisted kids in Mashonaland East with rare diseases.

One of the children assisted is Obey Andrea from Wedza who developed a growth on his left eye and could not afford medical expenses.

The child has since been operated with his parents Phoebie and Anesu Andrea saying the programme is a noble cause that needs to be supported.

The foundation also assisted four months old Tendaishe Chimhangwa who had developed a growth on his head but could not afford the hospital fees also.
