Exhibitors at the just concluded Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) are happy with business enquiries made so far and are confident of securing export orders to expand their market and improve capacity utilisation.
Exhibitors who spoke to ZBC News, some of them first timers at the show having been facilitated by the country’s trade promotion body ZimTrade, were happy to be a part of the premier trade showcase saying it was worth the effort.
The chairperson of the ZITF board, Ms Ruth Ncube said deals have been clinched and exhibitors are happy with some having booked space for 2019.
This year’s trade showcase was one of the biggest in years with almost 500 exhibitors, a 40 percent increase from last year’s figures.
There was also a 25 percent increase of local exhibitors, an indication that indeed ZITF IS open for business.
