ZPC Kariba overtake DeMbare

Maxwell Murimi’s 34th minute own goal gave winless ZPC Kariba the lead but despite holding on for most of the second half, Shabanie equalised in the 71st minute through Kibaki Dlamini to salvage a point.ZPC Kariba coach Godfrey Tamirepi was a disappointed man after watching his side draw their fourth successive Premiership match.

“We have been playing well but unfortunately results have not been coming. That we are yet to win a match is not a true reflection of how the boys have been playing.
“The guys are doing well and we will continue working hard to get positive results.

“We could have been worried if we had played many games, but the good thing is that the season is still in its infancy,” said Tamirepi.

Shabanie Mine coach Takesure Chiragwi was happy with the performance of his charges but felt they deserved all three points.

“We played very well and we deserved to get maximum points from the match. I am happy with the way the boys played. These guys have a good fighting spirit that has often carried the day for us and I want to applaud them for that,” said Chiragwi.
